Mike Myers

Excellent, Experienced Pipe Repairman Added to the Family...

As many of you know, Mike Myers has been working with us since April, 2011. He has been a tremendous help as can be seen by the present, saner repair turnaround time. He has proven himself and his abilities with some pretty involved repairs. Mike is a perfectionist (which can drive you a little nuts now and then...), but the result is that his work is impeccable. We wouldn't settle for anything less. Mike has become a very welcome and valued member of the Walker Briar Works family.

Mike is a pipe maker, and has made several beautiful pipes. A few are pictured below. He learned to repair pipes by repairing and maintain his own pipes (just like I did almost 50 years ago...), and by repairing, restoring and reselling quality Estate pipes for some time. He is a true artist, not only with the pipes he has made, but the quality of his repairs, which are always perfect.

Mike is 54 years old, born and raised in Southwest Michigan and now resides in Ann Arbor. He attended Central Michigan University, and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with his MFA in Photography. He has shown his work in several area galleries. He is also an outdoor enthusiast with other interests such as fly fishing, which includes building fly rods and tying flies. He enjoys kayaking, and writing the occasional poem. He is a member of the Arrowhead Pipe Club in Flint.
